Benefit Concert to Help End Domestic Violence in Utah

nhd_webbadge2b

I have had the amazing opportunity to work with a non-profit organization standing up against domestic violence in Utah. No Harm Done is hosting a benefit concert featuring local Utah music artists, who will also be performing original songs specific for the event, to donate to the Utah Domestic Violence Council. What a phenomenal cause, and a cause that is very dear to me and the founder, Jefferson Montoya, of No Harm Done. In February of 2013, a friend from High School murdered his wife, and then himself, for reasons no one will ever know. Their four small children were in the home at the time, and I am sure will try to answer the question, “Why?”, their entire lives.

Domestic violence is a real problem, and a problem where many people are affected. Why would we not support an organization that is trying to end this type of tragedy? I am a sponsor of the June event, and I encourage my viewers, and the community, to help us support the individuals who want to assist those who are affected by domestic violence.

The benefit concert hosted by No Harm Done will be held June 1st and the details are below:

The benefit concert, which is open to the public, will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the University of Utah’s Olpin Union Ballroom on June 1st, and will be featuring top talents like Ellee Duke, John VanWagner, andJefferson Montoya. Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased athttp://noharmdone.eventbrite.com/,  as well as advanced copies of the CD and donation opportunities.

The organization is also looking for corporate sponsor who will receive many benefits as a result. To learn more about sponsorship, please contact: Jefferson Montoya at (702) 885.4426,Jefferson@jeffersonmontoya.com, or visit the group’s Facebook page at:http://www.facebook.com/noharmdoneconcerts. More information is also at: http://fundly.com/noharmdone.

Let’s assist with this cause!
